I got this in an IM from a friend and thought I'd share:

It's pretty fun, shame there's only two levels, though the damn jellyfish form is kinda squirrelly on its controls.

Keep eating things and your creature gets bigger, eat the little cross pieces and it evolves. Munch your way all the way down to the bottom level and eat the big nasty there and it leaves behind an egg that can switch you to a new creature type. As you work your way deeper into the space (by eating the red dot organisms) you'll start running into more complicated creatures and even some predators that will try and munch on you. Then at the very bottom of the space is a 'boss' who if you kill and devour it, leaves behind an egg. Eat it and your creature goes from the eel thing to this kinda jellyfish thing and repeat (though the jellyfish is a bit harder to use than the eel).
The next update is supposed to add another creature to use to.

It's not a tech demo, it's meant to create a sense of flow. The guy's theory is that you'll achieve this when the difficulty level is just right for you, that is, not too easy and not too hard. Some people talked about this at a seminar thing at school. I don't know how good it is at creating flow, I think it gets tedious after a while because you spend most of the time just looking for things to eat. I seem to do that, at least...
