Windows XP Last Login

Post by Haruko »

I'm using Win XP.

I'd like to be able to pull up a page that keeps track of and displays the times I logged in, down to the very minute and even second, probably also duration and other such things.

Go to Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Event Viewer. If you have XP set up for tracking logins, then they'll be under the Security log.

If XP isn't set up to track your log-ons/log-offs, then to set up the logging, go to Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Local Security Policy. Under Local Policies, got to Audit Policies. Turn on "Audit account logon events" and "Audit logon events". Note: You're probably see some services logging on as well.

Edit: This should the time you logged on and the time you logged off. Oh, and be careful not to mess with settings if you don't know what they mean - its easy to fuck yourself over with the security policy.
