Ladies and gentlemen, it is a great pleasure to bring you the next installment of the Legacy series. I need a better dig camera, but I still think it turned out pretty good. Once again, I would like to thank the honourable ¤§¤ Mr. Poe for hosting this pic for me. Maybe I should put a little sponsorship tag or something on the next, what do you think?

What is this and where are you getting it from?
It's not my place in life to make people happy. Don't talk to me unless you're prepared to watch me slaughter cows you hold sacred. Don't talk to me unless you're prepared to have your basic assumptions challenged. If you want bunnies in light, talk to someone else.

I should have linked the fanfic posts on to here. I'll have to do that in the near future.
Basically it's the artwork for the story of the same name. What your looking at is the eyes of the main character staring down at the rest of the picture. He is also looking out to the viewer as well. It's harder to tell in this shot but the red in the background is basically a fire in the shape of a wolfish type character. The blue/white object is the Earth, with basically stormy wispy clouds. Basically shows a disturbance. The center object is a sword stabbing into a coin. The coin I might go back and work on some more, as well as the sword. These are all characters and ideas of my own design.
The basic concept is as follows. The world is in turmoil due to the Wolf character. The main character of course has to set things right, but he's doing it for his own ends. Early concepts that originated a few years ago and even those before the final decision was made had the full face of the main character. I decided to have only his eyes. It shows in a way him being consumed by the darkness (represtented by the black background.) One of the tones to the story is that the coin represents power and greed. The sword will be the weapon of a warrior for light and justice. So the sword is stabbing into the coin which is situated to be the heart of the beast.
Hopefully I will get a chance to go back and work on it. There are some flame effects I learned. I had to quit because it was due at the end of the semester and the background wasn't dried. It should be done now, so I will probably try. Thanks for looking!
p.s. The piece is oil on canvas. Size 4' X 3'
