A nice game of Vampire:TM?

It recently crossed my mind that it may be a nice idea to try a new game of Vampire.
It's been quite a while since the last time, so I am just testing the waters if anyone would be interested in trying it anew.

So, is there some interest?

I'd play. Only problem is I have like 40min of V:TM experience, and that was 4 years ago. But if there was a decent way for me to get back up to snuff at the game I would be very interested.

Interesting - I don't think I was here for the last one. I'm in.

Who's running the game?

So far, no one :)
If there's interest in general, someone should do it, right. I haven't GMed a Vampire game, so I think there are much better choices out there...

Sure, though I have'nt played in over 3-4 years (And only in the pre-Revamp rules).
Would this be a play by post game? (Otherwise I'd be out to to timescale)

STAKE'EM AND BAKE'EM! Sorry couldn't help myself. To keep it mildly on topic, I tried VTM 15 years ago but it never held my interest for more than a couple of sessions. I do however like vampire settings and would be willing to play if there is a need for players. PBEM are fairly easy, but time consuiming.

Well, there have been a few D&D, Vampire, and whatnot games on this board over the years :)

I remember the vampire game.

Motorcycle + tow chain + Potence = Nastiest flail of all time... I'm a bastard.

I remember the Vampire Game.

Within a month, people'd stopped playing, because there were 10 players who couldnt' get their shit together an actually post/play.

That's not counting the Munchkin who got the DM pissed.

Well, there is hope that there'll be a given subset of forum denizens who don't jump ship after the second page :)
One of the first ones lasted pretty long, so with the right people...

All I'm saying is I'm making a Changeling Redcap if I see one more Tremere without a Sire watching him every second.

I suppose asking to be a Separatist Assamite Sorcerer would be out of the question then?

If someone with a good story idea is dedicated enough to run it, and people don't just float along with the crowd not helping with decisions for most of the game, I'm in.

I'm a dedicated player, just not dedicated GM in Vampire. Does someone here feel a particular call to run it or someone with an idea?

Can I play a 10 year old Malkavian who has ghouled her precious Dobermans? I'm not talking childlike, I'm talking a cold heartless bitch who acts like you should be thankful that she allows you to breath... or not in the case of the undead.

I ran a rules light Vampire game at Librium Arcana. If no one else will do it and everyone finds me acceptable as a Storyteller I'll step up to the plate and GM.

I'd be interested. Haven't been able to get my WW system fix in quite a while.

Sure I'm up for some RP, hmm maybe I'll play a Bru.

Either that or a blues guitar playing creepy guy. (who really wants to put as much distance between himself and his sire as possible, in fact quakes in his undead shoes if someone even mentions the guy)former college student who went to missisippi to look up blues legends and met a really sadistic vamp in rosedale miss. (where robert johnson allegedly sold his soul), now travels a lot. and carries a lot of occult paraphinalia, most of which is just show, (the ghoul hand that occasionally talks to him being an exception) oh can anyone guess which clan he's from?

Well, to get technical, Tremere sometimes get transfered to different Chantries than their sires. Of course that will mean the regent will be watching him like a hawk so same diff.
