EDIT: I seem to be quite good at being wrong today. After much more searching, I've come to the conclusion that the lyrics you posted are part of a contemporary folk song that parents sing to their kids to get them up in the morning. Trying to find out who originally came up with the lyrics is like trying to find out who did so for I've Been Working on the Railroad.
