This is one of the coolest things I've seen in a while: modulating tesla coils to make music.

Some guys know as The Geek Group 'played' some of these at the latest South-by-Southwest music conference in Austin, Texas. link

They've also posted several videos on YouTube of earlier tests and performances. link
