Yoda's new Student

Post by SylasGaunt »

Alrighty.. how good a job could everyone's favorite midget Jedi Master training someone like Laura (the doctor's name for the fused Elaine/Diana from Genocyber).

A brief rundown for those who haven't seen it:

The fused version of the two sisters is almost totally artificial, with only her head and a few organs remaining, the rest is an android body.

She's got a mind like a wild animal most of the time, though occasionaly Diana's human mind will shine through.

If she gets too pissed off she transforms into a rather nasty Cyber-psychic creature known as the Genocyber.. not something any Jedi's gonna wanna tangle with.

Extreme psychic power. The more impressive stuff usually doesn't show up until she's threatened but some examples include making a combat cyborg rip his own brain out, telekinetically manipulating wires and concrete to fight off an advanced combat armor, telekinetically destroy part of an attacking cyber-creature.. oh and making someone's brain explode (well I suppose it was techically more of a column consisting of the guy's brain, bones, and internal organs that lept out of his throat and was trying to kill her but...) and that's without transforming.

It only gets worse when she transforms. When that happens we have such wonderful feats as fragging three attack helicopters, driving people insane with her presence (accidental), making two technicians explode just preparing a strike, psychically nuking a small middle-eastern country, vaporizing a UN supercarrier, vaporizing the island of Hong Kong, reducing the world to a post apocalyptic wasteland, and annihilating a space station large enough to be seen from the ground in daylight. Oh and apperantly she outperforms the UNs F-30 fighter which can IIRC pull roughly Mach 9 going straight up if you have a pilot that can take the g-forces.

So, Yoda's got from The Phantom Menace until his death in RotJ to train her... in that time can the green one make a Jedi knight out of her?

Anime, 3 or 4 parts to it, definitely not something you wanna watch if you have an aversion to splatter as it get quite messy.
New York City, destroyed
Sydney, wiped out
Europe Base, last division, destroyed
East Asia Base, no possibility of survivors
Middle East Base, 100% destruction
From one of the Kiryu groups few remaining command centers while the Genocyber was kicking their ass all over.

Really good Anime.

And I doubt Yoda would be able to train her to much. Then again she is talking and intellegent in the later episodes.... But more to the point who would want to train her to use the force on top of her psionic power? Not only is she prone to rages and to be highly emotaional...By all apperences she is immortal and can't be destroyed. He would be more wise to teach her control her anger and help her than ever consider training her to be a jedi. At least this could be one freind of hers that doesn't end up shot. :)

However she's like that because her mind for the most part runs on instinct with a very basic human intelligence. However there is a full on human intelligence present there, Yoda would just have to get her to use it in the time he has.
