He didn't screw with your post. In fact, he left the text intact, and he certainly wasn't abusing his power.

I am particularly allergic to people messing with my posts, as a leftover
from when David kept fucking with other people's posts to insert HIS OWN
comments into those people's posts, rather than making his own posts...

I don't care. It is sometimes necessary for a moderator to alter posts that have been made by other users, and to do so does not constitute abuse of power so long as the acceptable portions of the post are left intact.

This isn't the same thing. Fuzzy 'David' was (is?) screwing with posts to insert his own comments that have no relation to what the original poster said. No doubt that's a bad thing.

Inserting warnings, however, is something quite different. It does drive home the point to anyone who might have forgotten that they're dealing with a mod rather than just a ticked off ordinary user.

Has the same effect and its leagle

IE if I said "I wish somone would ice B&B" it would be bad

If I said "I hope a Double Decker Bus runs over B&B serveral times" its mostly ok

Bean has a point, To wish for someone to be murdered is bad, to wish that they die under tragic circumstances like devoured by shrews/tree falls on head/fall into vat of raw sewage

We forget things sometime though, rather than death we should wish for long lives lived inshameand embarrassment. I personaly wish PAramount would drum those hacks out of the industry and they only job they can get is at Denny's bending back all the forks i've turned into pretzels. Combine that with them losing all their money when someone sues them and wins on the grounds of them being a "pair of dicklicking shitballs"

Hold on, isn't that exactly what those "God hates America" protestors did in New York?

Anyway, I don't think David's post editing was an abuse of power, although I found it kind of annoying, and kind of creepy, since there was nothing stopping him from editing posts to openly degrade others.
