Sci Fi novel help:

After many fuitless hours of scouring the internets, I've come here to ask my fellow denizens for help. For the past few weeks I've been looking for a sci fi novel I read many moons ago but can't seem to remember the exact title.

All I remember is that the story took place many years into the future, Earth 's environment was slowly being recuperated after a devastating war. The book focused on the struggle between people who've had limited cybernetic/biomechanical upgrades versus those who are extensively "upgraded" cybernetically. Most of the book takes place on Earth and its local orbit where warfare is waged both on an internet, on the ground, and in space.

Several key features were: Asteroid fortress/weapons, MarCybs (marine cyborgs), and especially Adamant... I think that was the title of the novel, or at least featured prominently throughout the book.

I don't remember the publisher or the exact title, so if you guys have any ideas I'd love to hear them. Hopefully I can still get this book online. Thanks in advance!
