Anyone up for some Halo?
Now, I have been reading the reviews about the game and tend to agree with most of you who took the time write their thoughts on the subject. But the time has come to prove yourself. Not against the AI that tries to keep you from achieving your goals, but from the onslaught of respawning human players that thrive on tea bagging their recently fallen foes. Take on the spawn campers and dual wielding maniacs. Worry about your ammo, grenades and shields because just around the next corner is your enemy. Weed out the weak and turn the tables on the strong.
Who is down to play? We could take on people in team slayer or set up good old CTF on some of the bigger maps.(I hate that there is no CTF in matchmaking. It makes me so sad. Make a tournament to see who the real master of Halo is on SD.net. Just a thought but I always want to see who I can beat and who I can't. Let us talk about what can be done and at what times.

I'd be up for it, but I'll have to set up my XBL connection in my dorm. The internet situation is still a bit touch-and-go, but I shoul be able to play fairly soon.

I'm Baker Easy on Live; I'm not on that often due to various constraints, mostly time, but I'm up for games.
Actually, I'm rather interested in attempting to popularize a game type which I've created - I call it Snake Hunter. It's Team Slayer, on Valhalla and Sandtrap, where each team has four Mongooses (Mongeese?) and Spartan Lasers with unlimited ammo - no pickups, nothing else on the map - except for grav lifts in strategic places for more driving insanity. You drive around trying to get hits from the back of your Mongooses, which can result in a very crazy environment, but I still need to really test it out with larger teams.
Anyone up for trying this out?

I'd love to sometime. My gamertag's Darth Slimpants. I need to re-up my Live subscription, though!

Pain, or damage, don't end the world, or despair, or fuckin' beatin's. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, ya got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man ... and give some back.
