I also believe that the Stormtrooper ranks were a mixture of clones and recruits.

Do not speak of such horrors aloud, Sergeant!Clone Sergeant wrote:Lucas will probably digitally paint out all the live action stormtroopers and replace them with digital "improved" ones voiced by Temuera Morrison
That was British actor Clive Revill who was the Emperor in TESB. You don't really see his face and the voices are similar enough to where the effort of matting in Ian McDiarmud wouldn't be worth the expense.Darth Garden Gnome wrote:Not in TESB, during the hologram sequence. LOL. Lord Wong supports me. But *shrug* who knows anymore.Darth Wong wrote: Unless GL decides to vandalize this scene, they are not all identical clones.
The probability they're mostly CONSCRIPTS taken from political enemies' families is abysmally low. In fact, Trooper Durron never achieved posting outside of Carida itself. They're likely a tiny minority just forced in their as a sadistic way of punishing them or their families.Exonerate wrote:I recall a novel mentioning a Stormtrooper training facility. In fact, wasn't Kyp Durron's brother a stormtrooper?
