Oops, you mean that lovable flying lizard put in the freezer?Admiral Valdemar wrote:And if that applied to Rex, you'd have a good point.Big Orange wrote:They weren't reptiles, but monstrous seal like creatures from the future.
I don't know. It's possible his biology allows it, given his flying capability is also different to what one would normally expect from aerial reptilians.
I guess it must not be a pure reptile, if it had a bird like muscle system, and must even be warmblooded if it didn't immediately perish from the deep cold (from his era there was a bigger blur between early mammals and reptiles, with the dinosaurs themselves that relatively soon followed being debatably warmblooded). I'm not sure about those future seals that seem somewhat hesistant to kill humans though. And why is the psycho wife manipulating two members of the Arc, with Hart in her nickers, and Leek in her pocket?
I don't think they were hesitant per se. Just waiting until they were hungry, effectively securing a food supply.

I'm slightly bemused that everyone still has something of a "Haha, lol!" approach (especially Connor) given that they're dealing with vicious predators from the past and future. I mean it was worse in the first ep of this season, where they're fighting Raptors and Connor goes off on his own to go and get a bloody slush puppy (and hotpants just gives him the money for it rather than say "No, we're fighting fucking dinosaurs"). It's just... stupid.
Check out TREKWARS (not involving furries!)

To me Primeval is watchable light entertainment that has somewhat outperformed it's goofy premise and hasn't had a genuinely bad episode yet, while Torchwood is slightly dull nonsense that is still struggling to scramble out the deep pit of it's disasterous first season (but it's getting out gradually).
The sabretooth episode was a bit naff, but last Saturday's episode with future shark and seals was decent, while the upcoming episode with the giant arachnids with whipped tails looks fucking ace.
