Bargain. I had heard random talk about it here a few times in the past - is it any good? It looked cool and for $5 it'd be stupid not to buy it.

I played it for awhile with a friend but I never got into it in the end. The game fields massive armies which was pretty damn awesome.
I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

Against the computer its not that great because they will just feed a constant line of troops against you without building up their forces to do anything but irritate you to death.
It rules against a human opponent though when you get a few thousand soldiers shooting at each other across a field before they all get slaughter by machine guns err I mean the multi barrelt cannons.
Prepare to hate building houses though. Even in a small game your going to have to find space and time to build a few hundred of them.
