OK, so I had this crazy idea today. It's probably easier to just show you what I mean than trying to explain it in words, so here is my latest crazy creation:

No, I don't know what that spike on the front is for either, it just seemed like a good idea at the time. Anyway, thoughts anybody?

If those are windows on the bottom, then that is a really BIG zeppelin.

So is it a floating hotel? What is it? And is that a runway on the top?

Anyway, it looks pretty good to my untrained eye.

As havok has guessed, it is an airborne aircraft carrier. And yes, it's big. The flight deck on top I reckon to be approximately the same size as on the USS Nimitz. Unfortunately, it would never really work, as it looks to mass much more than the Nimitz, yet according to my rough calculations only displaces around 20,000 tonnes at sea level.

By the way, the WIP name for it is HMS Indomitable, because I always liked those names beginning with I.
