Aw c'mon, I love Shatner's version of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds it is hilarious.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:Hey, I have the MP3 and the QuickTime video.
It's not that bad, really. At least he sings better than Shatner.
Also his No Tears for Ceasar rap was pretty good.
By the pricking of my thumb,
Something wicked this way comes.
Open, locks,
Whoever knocks.

I remember ITV showing a documentary on the lives of Tolkienites before FotR came out and they showed the Oxford Elvish society, fanclubs around the world and then Nimoy singing. That was hilarious at first. Really, fanboys exist in every cult.Kelly Antilles wrote:Leonard has a good voice, actually. Why do you think they use him for so many documentaries? Man, you've been sheltered if you didn't know Nimoy sang.
But, but... it's Spock! I mean, I can understand the documentaries, but singing a happy song about hobbits?!Kelly Antilles wrote:Leonard has a good voice, actually. Why do you think they use him for so many documentaries? Man, you've been sheltered if you didn't know Nimoy sang.

Reminds me of Rory Bremner's Tony Blair rap featuring DJ Dubya.Slartibartfast wrote:How about:Tsyroc wrote:Aw c'mon, I love Shatner's version of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds it is hilarious.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:Hey, I have the MP3 and the QuickTime video.

Futurama. Specifically, the episode where the cast of the original Star Trek guest star. It's one of my favorites.Slartibartfast wrote: "I'm...Slim Shady. Yes. I'm the real Shady. I do like political piss-takes though and Futurama is good at those.

Quoting shitty Eminem lyrics should be a misdemeanor at least
"If it's true that our species is alone in the universe, then I'd have to say that the universe aimed rather low and settled for very little."

"Have some of you Americans actually seen Football? Of course there are 0-0 draws but that doesn't make them any less exciting."
-Dr Roberts, with quite possibly the dumbest thing ever said in 10 years of SDNet.

Spock Sings
What, you've never heard of the album 'Mr. Spock's Music From Outer Space'? My Mom ordered it for me decades ago when the old show was on its first run-through. The 'Where is Love?' song from the movie OLIVER was our favourite, we used to laugh our asses off over it. I've always thought that Nimoy sings at least as well as John Denver ever did and a hell of a lot better than Leonard Cohen (sp?).
