Ordinarily, I just delete messages like this. However, this one was angrier than the norm. Most of these people try to at least pretend they're civilized decent human beings.

When I used to go on yahoo chat for religion, the sbcglobal email addresses were always the most stupid ones. I don't know what it is about sbcglobal that makes people so fucking stupid, but it was almost always consistent.

Agreed. Though if he at least varied his first two sentences, spelled "obciously" correctly, and made sense of his last sentence, he would've been a few pegs higher. Good language skills never hurt :) .

I have to admit the message made me feel extremely guilty and uncomfortable, and I started reaching for the bible.

That is now become my top favorite arguement. They just kept trying to tell me I'm being 'rude' and 'disrepectful', all the while avoiding the question. Several posters even commented "Why can't you just answer the damn question?", it was very amusing. :lol:

Only one person even tried answering that one, and all they could do was appeal to one fallacy after the other, which was like shooting fish in a barrel.

You know, this could be a good thing. Isn't denial the first step, and then anger? Perhaps this Angel is, as I write, realizing that Wong's arguments are reasonable and sensible. I'd rather see this kind of response than none at all.
