Anyone know a good college for ornithology?

I did a little searching on the net, but it didn't turn up much.
I'm going to be an ornithologist, I'm still in my Junior year, but my moms bugging the hell out of me to find a college that I can go to for it.

So doesn't anyone know a good college to go to for ornithology or a site were I could search?

I don't think that any college would actually have that as a major, because ornithology is really nothing more than a subset of biology. Look for colleges where you can major in biology and which have the option of specializing in ornithology, there should be those around. I'll also note that you don't really need to be a biology major in order to be an ornithologist. My father (a lawyer) has been an amateur ornithologist for nearly fifty years, and what he doesn't know about birds is usually not worth knowing (assuming that he has knowedge of a particular bird, which rules out obscure exotics). If you're driven to it, you're likely going to learn quite enough about birds that you'll be qualified for related jobs even without a biology major. If you can actually find someplace where you can major in ornithology, good luck.

Places to ask would be ornithologist organizations, such as BirdLife USA (if you have one, we have something called BirdLife Finland and others) or others. They tend to have websites, with FAQs for beginners and experts alike, and you can ask via email. Someone is bound to know.
