A sequel to No More Heroes!

I am enthused.

I still remain cautious. One of the reasons I liked NMH is because it really was unique in the way it entertained me. If a sequel is going to be more of the same, then it ain't being unique, now is it? OTOH, I loved the way the game played and I don't know if it warrants changing things around just to change them. Like I said, I am excited, but cautiously so.

I eagerly await the return of Travis Touchdown and the slaughter that will ensue to the registered assassins.

I too, am hopeful that this will be as awesome as the first.

That reminds me of the plot of the second game I outlined awhile back.

It was entirely headgames. The Hero of the game comes to town to challenge Travis Touchdown, to discover him missing, and everyone calling Him Travis. After being told by Sylvia (again, a different person, but with the same name), she tells you to play along and live in his old apartment and eventually you'll meet and be allowed to challenge Traviss.
Throughout the game, you meet people from the previous game, including a lot of people who are supposed to be dead, including two 'Bad Girl' clones with very different personalities and styles of dress. There's lip service to a plot about conspiracies, clones, and the UAA, but it's all headtrips, right up til Henry- who has been harassing you throughout the game- finally leads you to Traviss, who he says is living in paradise with his wife Sylvia and their child Jeane, and it turns out that he and Henry are the same version, leading to a battle against a crazed, dual wielding Traviss babbling unstoppably to himself about paradise, the exit, and other such nonsense.

As you win, however, Henry joins the battle, knocking you out. The screen blacks out as the brothers discuss you finding the exit to true paradise, and there's the killing noise. The ending would be you waking up in a desert, without a whole hell of a lot of answers as to whether or not you're alive, or dead and in the afterlife.

But that was just my brainstorm. I'm sure Suda's will somehow be weirder.

Honestly...I beat "No More Heroes" quiet a bit before I traded it in, and even then, I couldn't follow the storyline all the way through, even AFTER I beat "Sir Henry-Mother-Fucker" - Honestly...do I need to spoilerize anything for this game yet?

I just hope part 2 gives some answers, while leaving us more wondering and in anticipation for the third installment..
