Another aerial photography thread (56k beware)

Looks like people were interested in the other thread, so I'll post some of mine. These were taken while getting my pilot's license and on a few flights since then, some by me, some by my brave passengers. I don't think they'll be winning any art awards, but hey, you try composing a perfect picture while trying to fly the plane!

Charlotte, NC, on my first trip after getting my license:

* Yes, for those of you who know how to read the VASI lights, I know I'm a bit low there.

More will follow as I get them uploaded to a hosting service that can handle the downloads.

Were you flying over VA Tech when you shot that last pic? I could swear that was my ROTC quadrangle. Course, I could be mistaken...it kinda looks like Radford, too. There's an all-girl school that's build in the same style as Tech...

Great stuff! Especially dig the cooling town shot. I love the way you integrated the wing/pylon into your compositions. Applying a basic "auto contrast" or "auto levels" will probably help clear up some of the haze. Tinkering with the shadow/highlight tool and the curves also helps.
The simplest solution takes the shortest time to write down.
