2) It's hosted on a porn site. Accesses to porn sites might not look all that good for anyone who accesses SD from work or school. With a link they at least have the option of knowing what they're getting into before clicking rather than getting stuck just by looking at the thread.
I do find it funny but at the same time disturbing because it may very well be true.

Cheers for the warning Enlightenment, I'm surfing from work right now. If I'd clicked that bloody link I'd be in deep shit within 24 hours. Our firewall flags everything up, and we have a spyware type prog running on all our machines that scan the drive each day too. 1984 and all that.
Yeah, we got a weeks warning they were installing Altiris on all our machines, and that was only because we work in the IT dept. I dont think the punters out on site even know they're being scanned and drive images taken. And our firewall blocks anything fun too, it even blocks mp3's now as well, never mind all the fun sites you might want to visit. We can look at inoffensive and boring stuff all we want, but anything else brings up a green warning screen telling you that you're being monitored. The only fun I get at work is vermin baiting on forums.
Reminds me of highschool where they were giving out detentions for looking at porn. Of course, we were all new at it at the time and didn't really have much of an idea of how to avoid sites with porn banners.
