SD Net Chat problem

I have a proble with the SDN chat. I use Pidgen and add it as a chat on AIM, I put all the proper details in etc yet I can't join it. Clicking on it does nothing and right click-join fails as does autojoin. Does anyone know whats going wrong or what I could do?

I think you're doing it wrong; you use buddies/join a chat or CTRL-C to bring up the join chat dialog. I've never added a chat as a contact before, so I don't know how that behaves.

I was having the same problem, I fixed it by just manually typing it in each time.

I have it set as a contact, and it auto-joins when I start Pidgin. Make sure it's set to the right exchange, I guess? I haven't had that problem.

But yeah, it's a nice feature, since I don't actually use Pidgin for anything other than Facebook chat and AIM.
