Post by HemlockGrey »

What TV show had the best opening sequence for the credits, with the best shots and the best music?

I was always fond of the B5 S5 opening.

Shoot me if you want, but, I am quite partial to the *sigh* Enterprise opening credits. It really builds it up good.

It's been a long road, getting from there to here.
It's been a long time, but my time is fin'lly near.
And I can feel a change in the wind right now,
Nothing's in my way.
...
The rain and thunder
The wind and haze

I'm bound for better days.
It's my life and my dream,
Nothing's going to stop me now!!!

Guess where that's from :)

I'd have to say Neon Genesis Evangelion.

But I must say that the first opening for Mobile Suit Z Gundam is fantastic: "Z - Toki wo Koete" ("Z - Beyond Time") is an awesome song.

I'm partial to the B5 credits....or the original SG-1 credits.....I'm not fussed with the higher budget looking one they changed to....

Farscape's from season 1 & 2.

What can I say, I really like that song. It goes great with the opening.

Any of the B5 ones. SG-1 are okay too. A-Team is good.

I'd also have to say Get Smart

Also, a question, is it just me or does the opening credits of Married With Children have 1/2 a second from National Lampoons Vacation?, the long shot when they've just left Chicago?
