Has anyone else ever gone to Wal Mart only to see some child getting spanked? I think I have seen this happen four times now. It never fails; some big fat woman is spanking the shit out of her kid in the middle of the store for misbehaving. This time, it was a big fat woman wearing spandex. I swear to god...

You know what gets me? These people don't seem to realize that the other shoppers are totally disgusted by this public display.

Actually, I say we should ban spandex from fat people. If we could make this into a law, this country would be a better place.

Seing a deserving kid getting a spanking doesn't bother me. Some of the little shits deserve it. Spankings in public are hardly unique to Wal-Mart I've seen them at upscale malls. Now, if the kid is just getting abused I always make a point of reporting it to security.

Now fat people in spandex, that's just wrong. There are few things worse than fat peole in tight spandex. There should be a weight limit on that stuff.

I wonder if these parents use Wal Mart as punishment. They tell their kid, "you had better stop or we're going to Wal Mart!" Then if the kid persists, "that's it! Get in the car, we're going to Wal Mart!"

I've never spanked a kid, mostly because I don't have them. And I've never worn spandex in my life!

Frankly, I prefer the parents who are giving the kid a much deserved ass-whupping in the store to those who let their little scream machines run wild.

Parents who yell at their kids all the time always have the worst-behaved kids. They have to learn that screaming, yelling, and even physical punishment lose their effectiveness if you overuse them. Every single time I've observed something like this in public, it's invariably been white-trash low-class parents. Usually smokers too.

I see nothign wrong with spanking, but do it in private. Take them to the bathroom, don't make a scene about it. Same with crying kids.

I was in a museum one time and there was this one woman carrying around a child that looked to be about 3 years old, just bawling its eyes out. I am thinking, 'Woman, take that kid OUT of here!'

All I know is that I was spanked as a child, and it worked. One or two spankings for doing something I shouldn't, I got the message really quick. I mean, my parents didn't beat me or anything, just a little spank if I did something bad.

I got hit in WalMart before... Some people act disgusted, and then go on to do it the next week.

In my opinion, children should only be spanked for willful disobidence.

I hate going to Wal Mart. Wal Mart is chock full of WT, BT, LT, and AT most of the time. Target seems to offer a better experience with cleaner stores and less hassle.

Some kids just know they can press their parents buttons in public. That's why they act up at Wal-Mart, etc.

Not here. Prices are roughly the same. Some things at WalMart are higher, some are lower. Wal Mart does have McDonalds inside and oil changes that are cheap, that helps draw in business.
