A prominent doctor in Malaysia is claiming that gay sex and masturbation make the body more susceptible to the H1N1 virus, commonly known as swine flu.
According to Bernama, Malaysia’s state-run newspaper, Dr. V.M. Palaniappan, a practitioner of complementary therapy, lists avoiding masturbation and homosexual activities as preventative measures against H1N1.
Palaniappan claims that ”when one masturbates, or indulges in homosexual activity, his (her) body develops friction heat, and that produces acid, making the body hyperacidosed, giving burning sensation while urinating and toileting, and making the person an easy target for H1N1 infection.”
He claims that dry masturbation, which he says ”most men, irrespective of their marital status and age," engage in, but that it is "extremely rare among females of all age groups," is dangerous for the same reason.
He emphasized that sex between members of the opposite sex was completely safe. Dr. Palaniappan also suggests coconut water as an herbal remedy for the prevention of H1N1.
In Malaysia homosexuality is considered a crime punishable by 20 years in jail, caning, and in some states, execution.

Trying to equate some rednecks going out and killing some gays in violation of the law (as disgusting as that is) with legal, state-sanctioned executions is absurd. While this is true (it case it was not obvious, I'm also Malaysian), it is still a very long way from the sort of suicide bomber producing madrassas alluded to in the post I replied to. Even in bastion's of malay-muslim thought like UIA and MARA, and in the retarded bleatings of IKIM, you'd be hard pressed to find actual support for suicide bombing and terrorism that does not extend beyond "They have no choice because they have no weapons".
Admittedly, YMMV, and my personal experiences are with urban government-funded schools with a high proportion of non-muslim students and faculty.
