I fucking hate it when my dad spanks me when I'm 13 or older! I can understand him spanking me when I was younger, but I'm fucking 16 now and he still does it every time I make him mad. Oh, Dad, just hit a tree!

No. But when I was a teen (around 16 or so) I was feeling tough and thought that perhaps I can finally outwrestle Dad. We tussled a bit and then he managed to pick me up and threw me onto the sofa. I was stunned and he just chortled. After that, we had a beer.

I never get hit, but I do feel an animal rage when my parents tell me to do something and I know I have to go along with it, like it or not. Like, if I had psychic powers, heads would be exploding. I may be almost 20, but as long as my parents still pay my bills I have to go along with what they say, and so be it.

Yes, I did that trick with the paddle once, when I was 8 or 9. THat's when I was introduced to the fine art of going into the yard and breaking a thin branch off a young tree. I got to pick out the branch. That tree's still there, and it's still got the mark where Dad broke that branch off.

Now, I deserved everyone of those whippings. I wouldn't come when called. I'd go traipsing off when I was supposed to be doing housework. I'd vanish for hours, playing in an area I wasn't supposed to play in, and not hear/answer when they yelled for me.

But I never got my mouth washed out with soap like my little brother did the first time he said Shit in front of my mom.
