My favorite mod of R:TW has been released in its third iteration. Everyone who loved Rome should go and play it. It is IMO the best RTW mod out there and a true challenge.
It really captures the immense difficulties the Roman Empire faced and has tons of new, reworked units and buildings. Seriously, go play it. I cannot recommend it enough. If you thought RTW was easy, try the WRE campaign.
