The Fountainhead on TCM tonite
TCM runs 1949's The Fountainhead tonight at midnight EST. Adapted by Ayn Rand from her own novel, the film is the story of architect Howard Roarke; a man determined to prove, in the face of a hostile statist society, that he really has the biggest dick in New York.

Kiss Goodbye to Duchess for tonight. She'll be watching it
Ayn Rand's novels are......well, the characters are dickweeds through and through.

This is the kind of movie that needs to be made out of Rand's work:

I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.
