If you grew up with Mr. Rogers, then let's donate to PBS
I am going to give a nice donation to PBS. I believe that Mr. Rogers, and Sesame Street, were a large part of my childhood and I really cannot thank them enough. I think it was these two shows, especially Sesame Street, that helped to stroke my intellectual side before even pre school and kindergarten.
If anyone else has had this experience, maybe you will join me in giving a donation. Heck, it's not like tithing to a church because I actually got something from them and I believe in what they continue to do.

I live in UK and I hear about ALOT about PBS trying to get money out of everything they can. Although I'm not saying it was a good thing Mr Rogers passed away...doesnt it strike you a bit bad that PBS are already putting up a drive to get money from it...

It's sad. I remember watching Mr. Rogers when I was lil. To bad he didn't get that much time to enjoy his retirement. I think that his last show was only a few months ago (or a year). I was shocked to find out that one person actually never hear of Mr. Roger before today .
I'll donate a couple of bucks.

I watched Mr. Rodgers and Seasame Street since I was about one year old. I learned so much from those shows, and more than just my alphabet and my numbers. I learned how to treat people and what was important. I hope they show those shows forever.
Of course I'll donate something.

Television shows don't grow on trees you know. Not airing commercials during your programming means you have to get a shit load of money elsewhere. The Great Unbearded One wrote:I live in UK and I hear about ALOT about PBS trying to get money out of everything they can. Remember people, without PBS, there would never have been a Cosmos or Nova.
