I invite you to enjoy my pretty stargate that i just made (in LW7) rendered with radiosity.

Its not completed yet, there are a few bits i need to add, but im almost there.

the little groove thingies arent exact to the real gate, and were also causing the moire in the previous picture. the teeth bezel thing closest to the inside of the gate is nothing like the one on the real gate but im a lazy bastard and this is already done so too bad.

If that's Earth's PoO chevron then I'm Milton Berle. It looks sorta like this: Å minus the horizontal bar.

dalton, they look almost identical on the tablets, but the tablets and the bezel are not the same.

im currently rendering the gate closeup of the wormhole controlly bits. the gate has 1.6 million polies right now. and my computer is barely slowed down!

Looking good, and I'll be interested in seeing an Animation when you're finished as it should be interesting seeing it go through 9 Chevrons, I take it you'll have a different from normal wormhole effect.
