So, I'm listening to internet radio through a set of headphones that are plugged in through these logitech speakers. They connect directly into the speaker control pad, which controls the volume and power.
This is probably no big deal or anything, but I've been having some audio issues and was wondering if this could be related. Is it normal for me to hear the pc's audio through the headphones when the speaker control pad is turned off? I've noticed that when I turn off the control pad, I still get full audio through the headphones. I'm pretty sure that it wasn't doing this before a recent driver update.
Why does this happen with my sound?

Headphones don't need power like active loudspeakers do, so the headphone connection is propably just looped through that control thingy. This is nothing to be concerned about.
