A 50 Dumbest Fundies list.

Post by fgalkin »

Let's make one. We can rate websites and fundie morons.

My idea is that everyone nominates a fundie, then a comittee of SD.net members who volunteer for the job assigns each one a rating on a Stupidity and Bigotry scale, and arrange them into the top 50 list.

What do you guys think of this idea?
Have a very nice day.

I'm studying for the CPA exam. Have a nice summer, and if you're down just sit back and realize that Joe is off somewhere, doing much worse than you are.

I think it's a good idea, but 50 sounds a little big. But that's only if we name them off the tops of our heads. If we look around, we could find 50. I'm sure Chick and Hovind would be on the list, as well as Falwell and Robertson. I'm sure Phelps would be near the top.

Yes, eventually it will all come down to them. It should be fun: trying to figure out whose a bigger moron: Falwell, Chick, Robertson, or Phelps.

But we must devise a scale. Without it, all the entires will be subjective.

I'd say Phelps is the dumbest, since his views are the most hateful and hardcore, he's glorified hate crimes, beat his wife and 12 children, and has denounced the others on the list as fag-enablers.

I think we should devise a rating system based on several different factors; a number of us could be assigned to assess a couple of sites, and then rate several factors on a scale of 1-10. The factors could be stuff like hatefulness, ignorance, whackjob content, and puritanism.

Phelps is more of a bigot and a hatemonger rather than a true moron. He does not show his ignorance by try to prove why gays are sinners. While he'll score a perfect score on the Bigotry scale, I don't think he's the dumbest of them all.

Have a very nice day.

I nominate Dr.Dr.Dr.Dr. Carl Baugh. He has (had?) his own show on TBN, has given himself multiple doctorates, is the promoter of the human prints next to dinosaur prints in Texas, and is a bigger, but better known, joke than Hovind.

BEHOLD!

We have to devise that.

Basically, my idea is to have a scale with the following criteria:
Stupidity (the lack of any reasoning abilities)
Ignorance (how flawed are their facts)
Bigotry (how rabidly do they hate all those who are different. The top score is reserved for Phelps)
Any other categories you can come up with.

So, each candidate is given a score on each of the scales. Then, they are averaged togeteher (with some scores on certain scales being given higher weight). They are then arranged by their score.

Feel free to add your suggestions about the scale.

Have a very nice day.

In more ways than one.

Wow, Gary Bauer looks like a little goblin. Or a fetus (maybe that's why he's so anti-abortion, he's trying to save his own kind).
