Howdy!
So I bought "Super Wing Commander" for Mac off of ebay a while back, and then I find out it doesn't work on Intel Macs - at least without an emulator. Anyone else have this classic, a newer Intel Mac, and successfully cracked the nut for running it? Imagine I'll have to purchase an older Mac OS (box says it'll run on 7.1), and found a program called SheepShaver (what an odd name) that is supposed to do emulation for older Macs. What about the older ROMs - where do you get one of those?
Any help would be much appreciated!

Re: "Super Wing Commander" for Mac
A bit of digging turns up suggestions for Basilisk II and Mini vMac. I can't say I've used either myself.

Thanks. Will check it out. Getting the Mac ROM looks to be the long pole in the tent.
Re: "Super Wing Commander" for Mac
Quick update: Got Mac OS 9 working on SheepShaver, and got Super Wing Commander to install and start up. Still lots of work to go to make the game playable (no sound or movies yet), but at least now there is light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks for the links.
