So, Petograph, the successors of Westwood is coming up with a new MMO model. An RTS with tanks.
Anyone has any input on this?

Saw this on the Spoony Experiment some time ago, looks rather impressive even given the graphical limitations given the scale of things.

That said, did i see what looked like Modernized T-34s?

Yup. There's also tanks that looked like a T-55, and the artillery/strike vehicles looks a bit like models from Tiberium War 2:D

To be honest though, I'm not sure what the longevity for such a MMO would be like. Starcraft and Warcraft III is probably the only game that lasted more than a year.

Company of Heroes has been doing something similar, and it's still going strong, although they're adopting the newer free-to-play type of model. Most MMOs seem to be going in that direction, though.
