A while ago there was a thread about a man who was shot at a gas station in DC, and passersby could not even be bothered to phone the police or paramedics to help. Here is an example of a woman who did go out of her way to help a gunshot victim... and was fired by her boss for leaving her job to do it.

I hope the citizens in that area boycott the pizza parlor that fired her.
