Ok, which is the worst our of these shows?

Personally, I think that TV is sinking to an all time low with these stupid ass "reality" shows. Words cannot describe my contempt for 95% of all television.

I don't get Fear Factor. The few times I've tried watching it I've almost vomited.

That one episode, where they had to eat a slice of pizza with coagulated blood as the sauce and grubs as the toppings. Sickening.

The thing that saves Fear Factor is that the host - and the entire show, most probably - seem to genuinely want the contestants to succeed. And that's really unusual for a show of this type.
I mean, the British version fails instantly because it's like, "We're going to do something really horrible to you! Mwuhahhahahuaha!" - and it's just rank sadism.

Still, making a fool of yourself on primetime TV is more fun. Your idea might work, but in no way will it gain the popularity Fear Factor has.

Point is fellas, is that Fear Factor is a disgusting, degrading, petrifying, unholy, satanic, mind-boggling, pile of pig shit. Nobody in their right MIND would watch such garbage. Which is of course, why half of America does.

Not really. To have the show picked up by even the minor cable networks, you'll need good equipment, Betacams, an editing studio, and a staff. All of which costs money. Which is why most programs are made by professionals.

Hate 'em all equally. Only one Reality Show I ever liked: Combat Missions. It was good, and there was none of the backstabbing that was so rampant on the other shows...it was a straight up team effort: either you won the mission or you didn't. Only "backstabbing" is voting off (though they had the option of picking for a sword, which Charlie did in the first one, very nice IMO). I still loved the ending: Bravo kicked ass, and those guys had class, a rare element on most of these "reality" shows.

That and the way Charlie Squad left when their whole team left...

"Are You Hot?" is a low for ABC. Also, they'll never find the best-looking guy and girl in America, since Halle Berry is acting in movies, and I'm typing this message.
