It appears to be a revolver. In his slight defense, he did put it away. Still, this does show the maturity of these people in power, if not the country's.

I do not envy the TV host's job in the situation. Here he is, stuck between two angry men who do not want to shut up.

Doesn't seem all that different from Teabaggers bringing guns to political rallies, really.

As much as I dislike western politicians at least you do not see stuff like this in the west.

Arab elite are extreme egoistical bastards who have not gotten over the idea that the middle ages over. They practically think of themselves as lords over the poor serfs (average citizenry). Getting power trips from bullying the weak and running from the strong (foreigners) is what they do.

I think even they have so far had the good grace not to draw them and hold a political opponent at gunpoint!

Nah, stops at physical assault without the gun. Which is tons better. (SARCASM, for the sarcasm deficient)

Still, this is crazy shit.

There is a difference. For starters, this guy didn't just bring one, he TOOK IT OUT and POINTED IT. Granted, it was in a heated moment, but that is enough I believe to be take as a serious threat against his life.

The Teabaggers are pointing the guns directly at Obama supporters?
A Government founded upon justice, and recognizing the equal rights of all men; claiming higher authority for existence, or sanction for its laws, that nature, reason, and the regularly ascertained will of the people; steadily refusing to put its sword and purse in the service of any religious creed or family is a standing offense to most of the Governments of the world, and to some narrow and bigoted people among ourselves.

That was some random basement-dweller whose political views are less "hardcore Objectivism" and more "paranoid schizophrenia".

I agree, anyone who disagrees with my politics is clearly mentally ill.

Check the smily. I was jesting. Holding a political view such as Objectivism does not make one mentally ill. It is fair to be one even though many people oppose or ridicule it's principles. But being a hardcore proponent of objectivism does create a self centered world view of me vs everyone that reminds me of the troubles genuine suffering schizophrenics go through.
