I saw these guys on Tarrant On TV a few years ago.

Imagine the total lack of dignity witnessed on Teletubbies mixed with the colour of Sesame Street and the inanity of Barney. Multiply by a googleplex and add Aussie accents and you still haven't reached anywhere near the fucked up entertainment that is The Wiggles.

Summary: Um, how about NO?

What is wrong with people? A kid show has to still be smart and funny and not patronizing. The Wiggles is anything but that. It stars these four bizarre fellas who live in Pee Wee's summer home with some oddly low-budget puppets and dance a lot. The acting abilities of these four Brits is questionable, since they overdo all of their lines like kids won't be able to understand them otherwise. I saw one episode where a hairdresser comes over and cuts one of the Wiggles' hair, and she kept tilting her head to the side like a defective robot. This sequence went on for like 20 hours, with the lady cutting the man's hair about fifty times. He went from being blonde with dreadlocks to having long black flowing hair to bald. Yeah, the whole thing was fascinating. We also get some really dopey concert scenes where the 'Wiggles' sing a very repetitive song while shaking their tails. The whole thing is just a bizarre, insanely trippy experience. Not as weird or hypnotic as The Teletubbies, mind you, but just as irritating. Stick with VeggieTales or the classic stand-by Sesame Street, adults.

Shoot this fucking slack jawed Yankee before I get over to the States and give him a crowbar enema! What is it with you guys?! Can't you tell Aussies and Brits apart yet? Gah, you KNOW we don't stoop as low as the Aussies in TV terms.
