Hmm, so they're making a TV series of the film Frequency. Interesting. I'm curious where all they'll push it. One of the key things that hurts updating the film is that in the 1990s, a ham radio was much more rare than owning one in the middle of the 20th century, so it'd be a VERY rare hobby indeed for her father in 1996, as opposed to a more standard hobby that it was for the main character's father in 1969.

I vaguely remember in the movie one of the characters made money investing in yahoo based on future knowledge. I wonder whether there will be a character in the 1990s who would invest in things like facebook or google.
