There was also something about how the pain & agony supposedly makes the flesh taste better, and then inviting some cannibals over for a BBQ to roast the now nicely seasoned human alive along with a pig followed by a blind taste test to see if people really taste like pork.

And this is not even the most disturbing thing I've heard them joke about today!

I mean, I'm not endorsing homicide by any means, but if you encounter a human who has suffered extreme misfortune, may as well use all that meat...

In all seriousness, and in my professional opinion, you should be fine as long as your love triangle doesn't become an overlapping Venn diagram of love polygons.

I've heard that fear and stress makes the meat less tender. Something to do with cortisol. That's why good butchers try to kill the animal before it knows it. I think torture induses a lot of fear and stress.

That's all part of a religious conspiracy to sell Kosher and Halal food. In reality, the fear & agony of death releases a bunch of hormones which make the meat more textured & flavourful, it's why cats often play with their food in all kinds of cruel ways, they know, nature knows, orcas do it too.

Yeah, I tried polyamory for about a year once. We all knew each other. Had lunch, shot some pool. It was physically, emotionally, and financially exhausting. Though the way the hostess looked at me after I brought both girls to the same sushi bar on the same day (lunch and dinner; what can I say, we all liked sushi) was priceless. None of the three of us made it weird, they each had another partner when we met and the two of them got weird. The main problem was that the three of us in the middle were eyeballs deep in sex and companionship and the other two got envious. Our helpful suggestion that they start banging each other was not met with enthusiasm.

I think the best part of the discussion was debating which people deserved to be tortured, BBQ'd alive, and fed to cannibals. Tech bros is obvious, so is bankers and health insurance execs, 99% of politicians and everyone else who makes a living from politics, but some aren't that clean cut. She thinks everyone who voted for either Kamala, Biden, or Trump is too fucking stupid to live and should be euthanized for the good of mankind, whereas I think voting for Biden in 2020 is forgivable since it got rid of Trump. Her argument is that there's been no one in the US worth voting FOR since Obama, and if there's no one worth voting for the logical action is to not vote, voting is consent and by voting you are legitimizing a broken system which makes you part of the problem, therefore, forfeiting your status as a worthwhile human.

I can totally see where she's coming from to be honest, she was born in the last years of the USSR in the middle of Siberia.
