Yeah, which where better/cooler? Personally i liked Lore's Borg. Why get bogged down with a collective. In a collective your only as strong as your weakest link. Kill em all and let the creater sort them out. Also the Borg Ship that Lore's Borg used was way better looking.

TNG Borg idea sure sounds more frightening. In that they have no leader, and they are just some mindless - and unstoppable - alien race that dooms every planet or civilization it comes by.

Giving them a leader (Borg Queen UGH!) and any semblance of order sort of takes away that terrifying edge...

Huh? We're talkin bout Lore's borg. Not Voyager borg.

Lore's had a cool ship. And wanted to wipeout all organic life. Depends if u think assimilation is worse than death i suppose

Well locutus episode came before hugh, which came before lore's borg. And picard says "you were always there" in First Contact, so i'd say they always had a queen, strange as it may sound, despite her not making an appaearence till first contact.

Lore's Borg were lame. They were just the villians of the week dressed up in Borg clothing.

Face it, TNG Borg were the best.

He isn't talking about Voyager Borg.

Lore's Borg moved intelligently and carried ranged weapons. At least mano-a-mano, Lore's Borg would crush any other variety.

He's not actually, I'm talking about the branch of the Borg that fell under Lore's control after the disaster of Hugh. This is not a thread about any thing to do with voyager. Voyager never happened as far as i'm concerned.

In that case why the hell was Gnome mentioning Queens in the 1st place? The of the two versions of the Borg i mentioned neither one featured a Queen.
