I'd read the specific parts about Arab armies before and found it interetsting. In this instance I liked the open bit that provided many examples where trying to take culture or past performance into consideration really didn't work.

No don't lock it yet, it has been posted before, but this was ages ago. It's a good article with lots of insight to the mechanics of the Arab culture. Maybe by some luck some Arabs might actually read this and realise that their mentality defeats its self every time and change it.
