Radio show today

Post by weemadando »

Going to talk about a couple of topics that have cropped up on SDnet over the past few days:

Textbook and classroom censorship.

The 12 year old girl pepperspray thing.

The looting of the UN cafeteria.

And other fun current events.

Also, Raoul Duke Jr, are you interested in having us play some of your "Dangerous Fun in the House of the Scorpion" segments? I think people would love them.

I seem to recall that you had recorded some once upon a time...

Do you have any of them on Audio CD? Because if so, just mail me the CD with them and I can play them. I can read them if you want, but I fear I might break down laughing.

Unfortunately, whereas I did read the very first one on air, it was not recorded. I sort of gave up on radio versions myself, but if there's one that I recommend you do, the first time out just to get listeners interested in the material, go with www.caphector.com/dangerous/take.html

Hell, Mike liked this one enough to mention it specifically in his mini-review of the work. I think "You Can't Take It With You" should be an out-of-the-gate winner, and with only two characters in it (Your Humble Narrator and Mr. Bawling Drama Queen) it only takes you and a mate to make it work.

Best get started with a rehearsal of it, though. Wouldn't want you busting up on the air. lol

Since I have the day off next Wednesday can I make some song requests?
"Oh no, oh yeah, tell me how can it be so fair
That we dying younger hiding from the police man over there
Just for breathing in the air they wanna leave me in the chair
Electric shocking body rocking beat streeting me to death"

- A.B. Original, Report to the Mist

"I think it’s the duty of the comedian to find out where the line is drawn and cross it deliberately."
