Anyone know about this game?

Evil fundies vs Evil Corporation(tm)!
Hovertanks!
Tactical Nukes!
The best RTS artillery unit ever!

Yeah I liked that game.

This game was incredible. It took drop dead graphics and combined it with an incredible tactical game. Thats right, tactical. This is not RTS because there is no strategy, just tactics. Anyway, you have a health mix of units that do just about everything. Added capabilities for different units to inrease their usefulness such as tactical nukes for artillery, HE rounds for tanks, mortars for light tanks or scout units, etc... I've always thought that some of the older RTS games would be incredible if ported over to the Ground Control engine. Imagine playing a remake of the original Command & Conquer or even Total Annihilation with the GC engine.

I can't believe I forgot to mention this. One of the most incredible aspects of Ground Control is the movement. This is a fully 3d game and you can view anywhere. If you want to place the camera up in the sky in the path of artillery so you can hear it rush by, you can. The ease of movment and how fluid it works is incredible. So many games try for 3d enviroments but completely screw up the control and the interface. GC on the other hand did it brilliantly. Many call it a necessary evil for such a game, yet GC makes is so painlessly easy you completely forget about it and it becomes a natural part of the game.
