Yeah, I noticed that in the Sky & Telescope Stargazer's Almanac a few days ago.
I wonder if Warner Brothers purposefully timed the release of The Matrix Reloaded to coincide with the eclipse...

Don't let it bother you. Contrary to what the astrologers say, a lunar eclipse is not an omen of anything (unless you want it to be, in which case it's just a case of applied psychology). It only has significance if you give it significance.Darksider wrote:The 16th is my B-Day. Why does this unsettle me?????
I just found it kind of funny that The Matrix Reloaded is coming out on the same day. I guess they're trying to play on people's fears, intentionally or unintentionally.

And this is why you don't watch anything produced by Ronald D. Moore after he had his brain surgically removed and replaced with a bag of elephant semen.-Gramzamber, on why Caprica sucks

Cool. I've yet to see a total lunar eclipse for various reasons but I should be able to see thing one easily.

Don't worry about it. My birthday is the 15th and I should have all of my "dark" business done (bills to pay and all that) by your birthday so the eclipse will no longer be necessary.Darksider wrote:The 16th is my B-Day. Why does this unsettle me?????
By the pricking of my thumb,
Something wicked this way comes.

Whoever knocks.
