Kirathi Empire Vs. Klingon Empire

Like many here, I enjoyed playing the Wing Commander series. I remember my frustration at fighting against those Kirathi starfighters (not to mention their capships). The Klingons seem to be similarly warlike, so whom do you think would come out on top if they met and found they just didn't feel like getting along with each other?

We already did this. The Kilrathi won pretty easily, IIRC.

I wonder, would the Kilrathi think Klingons worthy enough to impale them with their claws, or would they just disintegrate them?

There's a Confee vs. Fed thread going on in the Esbe Veyes Province right now . . . The WC debates are some of the only ones there that aren't total laminated bullcrap, in my opinion.

The way I broke it down was this:

The Klingons are very strong, capable warriors. The Kilrathi are stronger, bigger, and have better natural weapons.

The Klingons turn war into an art form, frequently bragging about their prowess on the battle field. The Kilrathi do not toy around with crappy and obsolete weapons. They use rifles, pistols, and similar weapons at range and do not ignore tactics.

The Klingons have a large war fleet that is capable of moving very quickly. The Kilrathi have more ships, and their ships are probably more powerful individually.

The Klingons have a huge Empire that supplies them with supplies to fuel their war machine. The Kilrathi Empire is larger, though perhaps not as populace, and it provides them with more raw materials to build an even greater industrial capacity.
