Which of these is the most annoying when its taken to a fundamentalist level?

I'm personally torn between many of these, but I finally settled upon Orthodox Judeism; simply because it combines fanatical religious devotion with racism.

We're all familiar with the Judeo-Christian/Muslims, but have you ever known a fundie Buddhist? I have. She was bizarre, to say the least.

And there's a growing, violent, Hindu movement in India that uses the nazis as a model.

Strong belief of any flavor is used as an excuse for all kinds of violent, intolerant behaviour.

Obviously, the most "annoying" is fundamentalist Christianity, because that's by far the most populous in North America, hence it is the greatest source of irritation to someone who lives here.

If the question is one of global danger levels rather than what causes the most annoyance in my area of the world, I would say it has to be fundamentalist Islam.

It would be easier, however, to simply lump Judaism, Islam, and Christianity together under that category, since they're so similar and closely related.

I voted Buddhist, from personal experience.
This woman would liberate the biggest pan in the kitchen, without warning, in order to cook for her fellow temple members on sundays. We needed that five gallon monster on sundays.
She would devote more time chanting her mantra than I got for breaks.
Being a strict vegetarian, who do you think had to drop what he was doing to come and taste what she was making? Oh yeah, due to the paticular sect she belonged to, she couldn't eat onions or garlic, so I had to taste everything.

For anoyance, and with those limits, my vote stands. The lady I'm talking about wouldn't eat onions or garlic because they were "too strong". The spirits she prayed to wouldn't come around if she had garlic breath!

Fundie christians probably the most irritating, and they exert the most influence locally, as far as any religion in this area can exert influence.

I voted "Shi'ite Islam" only because (1) Islam in general wasn't lumped into one category and (2) Mormons weren't on thelist.

Orthodox Judaism can be annoying but the most important thing about Judaism in these regards is to rememer that Judaism does NOT go out and seek converts-- you'll never have Jewish missionaries at your door telling you how wrong and fucked up you are and that you're going to hell; in facr Judaism says that ALL righteous people are going to have a place in heaven, not just their club-card members...

And Islam is as racist or more so than Judaism, you're mixing it up with Israeli politics as carried out by ring-wing Zionist-Nationalists. Not the same thing. Many Muslim clerics won't even say the word "Jews", they say "pigs and monkeys" instead. How sweet!
