The Matrix uses Windows OS

Post by DPDarkPrimus »

From BBSpot.
I can't believe that nobody has done a "Which OS does the Matrix run on?".
It's obviously Windows though.

The following points are quite telling:

1. Glitches occur in the Matrix whenever you change something.
2. It is easy to hack into the Matrix
3. DRM software built-in tries to rid you of Morpheus.
4. Microsoft created the Agent software http://www.microsoft.com/msagent/default.asp
5. The User Interface is like having a giant metal spike shoved into the back of your head.

Also the original movie had many windows crashing, a clearly meaningful, if not subliminal, message about the Matrix origin.

But ofcourse, while not perfect, it works. Much unlike Mac OS.

GTA 3 is a bit like the Matrix if you think about it. Policemen appear out of nowhere, just like agents, you can jump off of a skyscraper and survive, headshots have no effect on the character, you can see bullet trails, and weapons appear from out of nowhere and into the characters hands.

Of course. Mac OS doesn't just work; it works well.

Can't be, when all the agents smiths showed up there was no crash.

OSX is not quite perfect, but I'd use that over an OS that crashes when left alone any day. :D
