Post by Tribun »

It is time to celebrate!

ROTJ became exactly 20 Years old today! May 25th 1983 was when ROTJ was shown the first time in a cinema. Boy...how fast time goes on....

I have heard the hype surrounding the ROTJ arrival to theaters was
huge. To anybody who can recall, was the hype intese, or is it just
looked back on fondly by nostalgic fans?

It was hyped, and it was something of a letdown because of it.
I actually heckled it in the theater.

I'm told that I watched ROTJ in the theatres when it was first released, but since I don't remember it. Not suprising, really, considering the fact that I was only two years old at the time.

Wasn't that movie rated too high for you at the time? I bet it traumatized you big time. That's what the ratings are for. :D

I remember going to see ROTJ in 1983 for my 10th birthday. I thought it was pretty cool.
