Heres my idea for Enterprise NCC-1701-H its a Warship from the 32nd Century stuck in the 22nd century trying to restore the timeline back to normal during the TCW which heats up . Would that work?

It would be pretty cool, but why would it take them 800 years to make 3 Enterprises? The E-P is more likely.

That might be cool, but it might also be hard to do.

The NCC-1701-X Enterprise runs across a half-dozen 22th century warships. One volley from the main guns destroys the entire enemy task group. Then, just to make it completely obvious that the Captain of the E-X Strongly Disapproves Of People Picking Fights With Him, he checks his records, sees "Hmm, the home planet of those annoying bastards was destroyed around this same time in my own timeline! Hot damn!" and proceeds to perform a BDZ on them.

The other possibility is, the Enterprise from 1000 years into the future has no weapons or energy shields because the Federation has decided that putting actual weapons and defenses on their ships just encourages the ships' Captains to go looking for trouble, and thus prefer replacing ships and crews to risking one of their officers figuring out how to fight and worse yet liking it.

I think at some point we're going to have to abandon the NCC-1701-(Insert Suffix). That's going to get pretty fucking ridiculous real soon.

The big war around the 29th century. For some reason, the combatants keep going back to the 22nd century. Happens during Enterprise.

Its okay if you don't know about it. Enterprise hurts the brain.

It is supposed to be the long running plot for Ent. You really don't want to know the details.

Although I'm not interested in seeing Enterprise, I'd like to see some of the 29th century ships.

Enterprise should have been the story of the Daedelus Class starship USS Enterprise and it's exploits before and during the war between Earth and the Rommie's.

There's nothing wrong with the concept of Enterprise as it is, all it needs is a new cast, new writers, new ships, a degree of continuity and a healthy respect for TOS.

I've been thinking about attempting to write a fanfic on how it should have happened, but I need to be at home to do it, so I can retrieve my ageing copies of the TOS novelisations and the even more ancient (but untainted by Enterprise and most of Voyager) collection of Star Trek fact files so I can figure what needs to happen.

I also need to learn how to write convincing dialogue, which aint a strong point of mine. Dramatic descriptions, yes. Lines you cant see coming a mile off, no. :D

EDIT: Yes, Col Crackpot, that was exactly along the lines I was thinking about, definately with the Daedelus, or something similar, I think I have a book with a couple of concepts of the Enterprise in TOS before it was finalised.
