Star Wars Junkyard Wars
The Finals

Here is a proposal

If anyone is not familiar with Junkyard Wars from TLC the premise is you turn teams loose in a junkyard with a project and the best built thing wins.

My premise

We let loose in Nar Shadda's abandoned Duros Sector the four top winners from the semi-finals and lets discuss how they will do.

First the Teams

Team Star Wars: Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Boba Fett

Team Prequal: Anakin Skywalker, Obi Wan Kenobi, Watto, Jango Fett

Team TOS: Scotty, Kirk, Spock, Sulu

Team Imperial: Admirial Piett, General Veers, Bevel Lemelisk, Grand Admirial Thrawn

The Project

Build a vehicle to escape the Duros sector. The Vehicle must be built with whatever is in the Scrap Pile here in the center of the sector. The Area is being secured by all 4 IG-88's

, Dengar

and Bossk

to keep all of the monsters

out of the scrap pile and construction areas. They also will be ensuring that none of the teams fire on or attack any of the other teams since for this race weapons are allowed. This is because you will need them to fight your way past all of the monsters and other "wildlife" in the tunnels out of the sector. After getting out the vehicle must asend to the top the Duros Spaceport Control Tower. If the vehicle uses a mechanism to climb the tower instead of just flying to the top the team gets an extra 3 points. Best time to get to the tower and to the top wins. BTW the team that finished first in the Semi-Finals Team Star Wars gets 3 bonus points so they can avoid adding a climbing mechanism if they wish. Each team will make the run one at time with the top winner from the Semi-Finals going first with the fourth placing team going last.

Points

5 For first place
3 For second place
2 For third place
1 For finishing
3 Bonus your using a climbing system to assend the tower
3 Bonus points for placing first in the Semi-Finals

The construction:
Team Star Wars will be majorly distracted by Bossk, who tries to settle his score with Boba Fett. Fett will take off to lead Bossk away, leaving Chewie and Han, who spent a good deal of time in Nar Shadaa, to build the thing. Luke will use the Force to keep the monsters away. The Imps will get the three bonus points, I think, since Bevel Lemelisk is a genius (He'll probably come up with a makeshift MT-AT). Veers and Thrawn work out some plan to scare the monsters away, and to steal some parts in the process. Kirk goes into ripped-shirt mode to keep away the monsters, while Spock and Scotty jury-rig something that they'll "only get one shot" at. Watto will help Ani build the thing, by finding choice parts in the junk. Boba and Bossk stumble into Team Prequel's area, and Bossk becomes confused at which Fett to attack. He attacks both, and the resulting brawl scares away the monsters, leaving Obi-wan nothing to do.

The race:
First place goes to either Team Star Wars, with one Jedi, one extremely lucky smuggler, and the best bounty hunter in the business.

I don't know.... IG might mess them up pretty bad before they got anything and your Forgeting Dengar's Hatred of Solo he WILL go after him

the IG-88's have been fitted with restraining bolts and Dengar will be to busy with the critters anyway

This is the same guy who went up aginst Jabba's whole group of retainers to try and kill Solo, His whole PURPOSE OF BEING is finding and killing Solo, Why do you think he;s wearing those Bandages anyway? Solo was the reason for it

so one of the security guards won't last all that long

Well its mentioned Bossk would run off to find Fett and I'm saying Dengar would run off to find Solo

so my choice of security personell wasn't the best but i did try my best to pick characters who could secure the area

Hmm. I hadn't thought of Dengar oing after Solo. Is Dengar from OT, or EU? Because he planned to settle down after ROTJ (Yeah, I know he showed up in DE, but he said that was his last job, didn't he?).

I have to go with Scotty and Spoke riggin' up a transporter of some sort.

Scotty will get drunk, Spock will talk endlessly about human emotions and it's failings in the place of logic, Sulu will probably wander around somewhat uselessly, and Kirk, being Kirk, will also get drunk, look over the shoulder of the people actually doing the work and find a way to rip his shirt off.
